led me back to my own story.

Underneath It
is the story
of growing up
as the daughter
of a professional con man—
and the journey that followed.

It’s a memoir of trauma,
deception, forgiveness, faith,
and discovering that what we see
is rarely the whole story.

More than anything,
it’s an invitation
to look beneath the surface,
to understand without excusing,
and to believe that redemption
is always possible.

My debut memoir,
Underneath It,
